If transmission errors occur despite a repeater (also called an extender or signal amplifier) or an active HDMI cable, the cause is usually insufficient power supply. Many HDMI devices still do not provide sufficient power via the HDMI cable. Our special power supply unit provides a remedy here. The supplied adapter (HDMI plug to HDMI socket) is simply inserted into the HDMI feed line and connected to the power supply unit. This ensures optimal power for the HDMI chipset in the extender or the active cable.
