In this radio set from WHD, the high-quality HLS 51-LI built-in radio is combined with two UP 10 hi-fi built-in speakers.
WHD has established itself as a manufacturer of exclusive built-in solutions, and with this set you enjoy all the advantages of a first-class built-in radio with high-quality ceiling speakers. All the electronics are hidden in the ceiling or wall, which means there are no devices standing around in the room and unsightly cables can also be dispensed with. Tripping hazards lying on the floor are thus a thing of the past. Operating the device is nevertheless comfortable and easy thanks to the supplied remote control; the required infrared receiver is already integrated into one of the two speakers.
With the Line-In connection you can use external music sources, such as an MP3 player or your smartphone, but also a docking station (2514WHDMP55UP) or a Bluetooth receiver (2514WHD0BTR55). You can therefore also use the exceptionally good-sounding speakers for your own music. With 8 W of music power each (not to be confused with PMPO figures!)
As WHD uses a first-class receiver, it is usually sufficient to use the enclosed wire antenna to ensure crystal-clear radio sound. For very poor reception conditions, however, an antenna connection for the house antenna is of course also integrated.
