The Caratec Safety camera switch has been designed specifically for vehicles with two cameras and a moniceiver with only one camera input.
This allows you to switch conveniently between the images of two reversing cameras (near/far view). Alternatively, you can also switch between two cameras using a switch.
Connection options:
Variant 1 (two reversing cameras)
During normal driving, the image from the rear-view mirror camera is displayed. When you engage reverse gear, the camera switch automatically switches to the reversing image.
Variant 2 (reversing camera and underbody camera)
The image from the reversing camera is displayed. Using the switch included in the scope of delivery, you can switch to the image from the underbody camera.

Note: For devices that cannot switch automatically between colour standards (PAL/NTSC), cameras with the same colour standard should be used on both inputs.
