When unlit, the vegetation-geographical map of the DUORAMA illuminated globe gives you a view of the Earth with unprecedented plasticity. The hand-drawn, ultra-finely printed relief creates a three-dimensional impression right down to the depths of the sea. When illuminated, the political differentiation of the Earth is added in fine lines, while the topographical view is retained. The country borders blend very discreetly into the vegetation-geographical representation with sea depths, desert landscapes and green forest areas.
