The Lyndahl Rushlink OFC speaker cable is manufactured and twisted with high-quality OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) copper conductors. The copper conductors are oxygen-free with a copper content of 99.99%. The twisted structure of the conductors ensures that the cable's own magnetic fields cancel each other out and the cable is much less susceptible to interference - a process that has long been standard in the professional sector.

Which speaker cable should I use, and how do I connect it cleanly?

For new runs use 1 to 2.5 mm²; the amplifier-to-speaker run should not much exceed 10 m. Extending by twisting or with a terminal block is fine — just get the polarity right. Bare strands fray: ferrules for clamp terminals, banana plugs or spades for binding posts.

How do I split and strip speaker cable sold by the metre?

With twin cable the transparent jacket forms a web between the two conductors. Pull the two apart by hand at the end instead of cutting around the cable — the web tears cleanly and no strands are nicked. Then strip about 8 to 10 mm, twist the strands and lead them into the clamp or terminal. In spring clamps and screw terminals ferrules keep the strands together; we stock them to match the 1.5 mm² cable in packs of 10 and 100. Do not tin the ends: solder flows under pressure and the clamped joint works loose over time.

Can I connect several speakers or pairs to one amplifier?

In principle yes — impedance is the deciding factor. Both channels should carry the same load, and the total impedance must not fall below the amplifier minimum: with identical speakers, parallel wiring halves the value, series wiring doubles it. The AMP4X15BT is designed for four speakers out of the box.
