This illuminated table globe from National Geographic skilfully combines tradition and modernity. The sphere has a diameter of 37 cm and is traditionally hand-laminated with the "Classic" or "Executive" cartography created by the National Geographic Maps Division. The map is essentially political, with physical information indicated by shading. Over 2,000 geographical names are recorded on this hand-laminated illuminated globe.
The world sphere is framed by a meridian made of brushed stainless steel and sits on an elegant wooden base. The globe has a total height of 43 cm.
