With this model, an exceptional new form for a floor-standing globe has been found. Remarkably elegant with its dark wooden base and the 80 cm high (120 cm total height), slightly curved column made of chrome-plated steel, it allows effective placement in the room and also makes it easy to view the cartography while standing. The hand-laminated sphere with a diameter of 37 cm is illuminated by a 7 W energy-saving lamp, thus allowing the object to be used as a fully fledged floor lamp that can be switched on and off with a foot switch. The labelling is written in clearly legible German.

Three variants are available, differing in their cartography: dual-image floor-standing illuminated globe (political/physical cartography).
